Membership

Membership in the Greater San Diego Basset Hound Club is open to all persons who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purpose of the GSDBHC.

The Greater San Diego Basset Hound Club is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the betterment of the Basset Hound breed. With this purpose, Constitution and Bylaws have been established with approval from the Basset Hound Club of America and Guidelines for Ethical Conduct as established by the Basset Hound Club of America will be followed. Your signature below certifies that you will abide by these Bylaws and Guidelines of Ethical Conduct and will support the rules, regulations and decisions of the GSDBHC and that you are in good standing with the AKC.

Membership Type Descriptions:

Individual Membership

Open to all persons 18 years of age and older. Individual members enjoy all the privileges of the Club, including the right to vote, hold office ahd chair a committee. Requires completed application for membership and annual dues of $15.

Family Membership

Open to two persons 18 years of age and older who reside in the same residence. Both persons enjoy all the privileges of the Club, including the right to hold office, but will share one vote. Requires completed application for membership and annual dues of $15.

Associate Membership

Open to all persons 18 years of age and older. Associate members are not entitled to vote, hold office or chair a committee but may serve on a commettee. Associate Members enjoy all other privileges of the Club. Requires completed application for membership and annual dues of $10.

Junior Membership

Open to persons 17 years of age and under. Junior members are not entitled to vote, hold office or chair a committee but may serve on a commettee. Junior Members enjoy all other privileges of the Club. Upon reaching their 18th birthday, a Junior member must convert to a Single, Family or Associate Membership, if he/she wishes to remain in the Club. Requires completed application for membership and annual dues of $10.

Make check or money order payable to GSDBHC for dues.
